Indoor Scavenger hunt

“BE A DETECTIVE! Go on a scavenger hunt and find the objects on your bingo card.”

Go on a fun search. Put your best searching clothes on, grab your magnifying glass and search for the items on your bingo card. Can you fill up a whole line of items? Can you fill up your whole page?

Process

• Print out the bingo sheet provided for you for each family member

• Discuss the rules with your child. How many items can everyone find in the house?

• Colour or put a marker on the items you find along the way.

• Can you fill up a line on your card? Can anyone fill up the entire BINGO card?

• Check out your family BINGO scavenger hunt

• Can you find the objects on your card? Can you be a detective?

• Look at the pictures and look around your house. What can you find?

• Once you find an object, bring it back the your table, cross off what you found and go look for another object!

• Can you find all the objects on the card?

• Was there something that you couldn’t find?

Parent role

• Discuss the rules for the scavenger hunt. Are you working together or independently?

• Help your child read/look at the pictures on the card. Are they able to identify each item clearly?

• Help your child find the objects around the house.

• Help your child cross of, put a marker on the objects they find.

• Have fun!
